"MESMOIRES de quantité d'actions particulières qui se sont passées pendant les troubles de Paris au commencement de l'année, 1649," etc.: a collection of memoranda relating to the Fronde by Guillaume Tronson, acting-colonel, in the absence of his uncle, M. de Sève, Seigneur de Chantignonville, of the Quartier St. Germain; 1648, 1649. At the end, f. 144, is a single entry, dated 23 Dec. 1658. The principal contents are:-
1. "Journal de Mons. Tronson, secretaire du cabinet, Lieutenant de Mr de Seve, son oncle, colonnel, pour ce qu'il a fait en la dite qualité depuis qu'il a esté receu en l'hostel de ville [24 Sept.], 1648," f. 4.
2. "Mémoire des armes, outils et munitions de guerre qui ont passé par mes mains;" Jan.-Mars 1649, f. 14.
3. "Recit veritable de quelques actions faictes pendant la guerre, pout. servir de justiffication particulière i la siàcerité de mes intensions," f. 48.
