memoirs of the proceedings of the Parliament of Paris during the sessions of 1648, 1649, 1651, and 1652, transcribed, as appears from a note in Vol. i. f. 2, by Barthélemy Gabriel Rolland, Conseiller au Parlement, President à la première [Chambre] des Requêtes du Palais, from a copy made from the original manuscript by Revol, President of the same chamber [d. 1760], "mais en suprimant les arrêts et arrêtés et ne conservant que le détail des opinions," and adding also notes and reflections of his own, which are marked in the present transcript. The volume of the original manuscript containing the session of 1650 was lost before the work came into the hands of M. Revol. At the beginning is a brief summary of affairs in 1641 and 1642, with strictures on the character and policy of Cardinal de Richelieu. Two volumes. Paper; circa 1761.
