"LIBRO Imperiale," by Chani da Castello; in four parts. The first two parts treat of the triuniplis of Julius Cæsar. after the defeat of Pompey, and of his subsequent acts and assassination; the third and fourth contain a fabulous history of Silvaggio, a descendant of Julius Cæsar, and of his succession to the Empire under the name of Maximus, and an account of the family of Prefetti of Rome. The work is supplemented by a short account of the Roman Kings and Emperors from the earliest times to Henry VI., A.D. 1314; and at the end is a table of chapters. Vellum; xvth cent. With an ornamental border on the first page, at the foot of which is a defaced coat of arms. On f. 1 b is the stamp, partially defaced, of the "Bibliotheca Capuccinoruin. . . . . . . ." Octavo.
