ff. 4r–5v: Instructions given to William West, Lord De La Warr, Sir Rafe Sadler, Thomas Willson, and Sir Thomas Bromley, after being sent to Mary, 11 January 1573, with her answers to the charges brought before her.
ff. 6r–7v: ‘Offers made to her Maiestie by the Queene of Scottes’, with memoranda, in the handwriting of Sir Christopher Hatton, on the danger of liberating Mary, 21 April 1583.
