co. Merioneth. f. 228. The latter part of the volume, ff. 270-416, is made up of Owen's miscellaneous pedigrees, but chiefly of co. Pembroke. The following papers are included:-
1. Copies of grants of arms to the family of John Thelwall, of Bathauarne Park co. Denbigh, 1608; Sir Thomas Holland, of Berrow, co. Anglesey, 1635; and Lewis Owen, of Crewthyn, co. Carnarvon, 1616. ff. 124, 125, 226.
2. Copy, by G. Owen, of instructions to Gryffyth Yrathoce [Hiraethog], herald. f. 270.
3. Descent of the family of Martin traced from Martin of Tours, from whom G. Owen claimed descent [see Lansdowne MS. 708], in the handwriting of William Camden; 1594. f. 326.
4. Copy of a grant of a rent in Kemes from Robert de Valle to Pille Priory, co. Pembroke, in the 13th century. f. 347 b. On f. 302 b is an englyn in honour of G. Owen, in the hand of Lewis Dwnn, 1591. At the end, f. 417, is inserted a list of the sheriffs of co. Denbigh; 1541-1786. Paper; ff. 421. Belonged to John Madocks, 1825. Folio.
