Materials: Palm leaf, gilded and lacquered, 6 ff.
Dimensions: 530 mm x 100 mm.
Script: Burmese square script, 5 lines per side.
Binding: Wrapped in a woven mat, size 530 x 372 mm, 19th century (?). The wrapper is made by hand with intertwining cotton yarns with bamboo slats in a geometric symmetry pattern in zig-zag shape in the colours white, light brown, red, green,indigo, navy. The edges are neatly covered with plain red cotton fabric. This geometric symmetry pattern and colour scheme are similar to the pattern found in textiles of the Tai Lue ethnic groupin Myanmar's Shan State, as well as North and Northeast Laos, and northernThailand.
