2. Sketch of the people's chorus (melody and bass only) from Act ii of 'Rienzi' [1839], by Wilhelm Richard Wagner; 1838-1839. Autograph. ff. 3, 3b.
3. Largo maestoso (introductory movement) and Allegro con brio (beginning only), in C, for 4 hands; 19th cent. In the hand of Wilhelm Richard Wagner. Imperfect. {Concert overture in C, WWV 27. See also Zweig MS 99. f. 2v.} f. 4.
4. The draft of a letter addressed to " Meine liebste theuerste Marie," and referring to a quarrel between the writer and her mother; apparently by Wagner and in his hand, but unsigned. f. 5.
