Jonathan Swift, Dean of St. Patrick's, to Charles Ford, in reply to a letter printed in Swift's Works (ed. Sir W. Scott, 1814, vol. xix. p. 40), mentioning his fits of giddiness, the decay of his rents, his despair of the church, etc., with disparaging remarks on the Duke of Argyll Carteret; 22 June, 1736.
