Upper Lye, in Almestree [Aymestrey], Lower Lye, in the same parish, and lands in Covenhope [Conhope], in the same parish, with woods in Shobdon, all owned by Sir James Baterman, Kt., alderman of London, with arms in each case of Bateman and Searle impaled in colour.; 1708.
