The composers named or identified are Robert Jones, [Nathaniel] Giles, Coperario [i.e. John Cooper], and D[aniel] Farrant. Paper (ff. 1, 37 old vellum cover) ; ff. ii + 37. Narrow oblong octavo. First quarter of XVII cent. Morocco binding by Lewis 19th cent. Belonged at an early period to Robert Downes, in 1841 to Joseph Warren. Book stamp of Joseph Haslewood (arms) and bookplate of W. H. C[uinmings] (sale-cat., lot 1586).
