ORIGINAL letters, etc., addressed to the Rev. Thomas Frognall Dibdin on the publication of his Bibliomania, 1809-1813. Several are published in his Reminiscences (1836). Among the writers, whose names are all given in the Index, are

William Hamper's letter of 17 Mar. 1810 (f. 62) enclosed (ff. 67, 68, now bound separately) two original leaves from the accompt-book of a bookseller in 1554, possibly John Day, being end-papers from a copy of The Poor Man's Librarie (J. Day, 1565), which belonged to Thomas Sharpe of Coventry. Prefixed to the letters are an index (f. iii) and an engraved portrait (f. vi b) of Dibdin in 1821 from an etching by Mrs. Dawson Turner. Paper ; ff. vi + 87 (ff. 67, 68 separately bound). Small quarto. Belonged to Dawson Turner (sale-cat., 1859, lot 136). From the Farnborough Fund.
