SAN SALVADOR AT OÑA: register of the deeds of the Benedictine Abbey of San Salvador at Oña, in the diocese of Burgos, in Spain; 1453-1460. Spanish. The contents, which relate to a period when the Abbey was in process of reform, consist of notarial copies of deeds of purchase, leases, etc., in Santé, Castellanos, and elsewhere, entered in roughly chronological order within each gathering, although the gatherings themselves are bound in reverse order of date. A contemporary account of the contents is written on the front cover (f. i), followed by an index of places (f. ib). For another register from Oña see Egerton MS. 3279, below.
