Material: Parchment ( ff 1-286) and paper (ff 287-331; watermark: anchor in a circle, similar to Briquet 464, 467-469, and 471).
Foliation: ff 331. Four unfoliated paper flyleaves at the beginning and three at the end.
Dimensions: 180 x 140 mm.
Ruling: 140 x 100 mm, 28 lines per page.
Binding: British Museum, half leather, early 20th century. The leather of the previous binding (17th century?) has been adhered to the inner boards.
Scribe: Ἄγγελος Καλαβρὸς τοῦ Φιλλετη (ff 287r-330v), Repertorium 1A, no. 5: colophon f 330v: Ἐγὼ ἄγγελος καλαβρὸς (τοῦ φιλλέττη supra lin.) ἰερομόναχος (sic) τῆς | μεγάλης μονῆς σ(ωτῆ)ρ(ο)ς τῆς μεσσήνης | ἀνεπλήρωσα τὴν ἐξήγησιν τοῦ ||| ἰεροκλέους (sic) εἰς τὰ χρυσὰ ἔπη τοῦ πυθαγόρου. The 10th-century portion was written by two hands, and the Anonymi professoris epistulae have been corrected by a later hand: Markopoulos 2000, p. 24*.

Provenance:
A note by one of the scribes on f 122v is only partially legible: ...κ(ύρι)ε βοήθει...τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Ἰωάννῃ τῷ...τῷ λ...
Constantine Láscaris (b. 1434, d. 1501), Greek scholar and grammarian: the additions on paper by Angelo Fillete were associated with the school of Láscaris in Messina by Cavallo 1980, pp. 329-40 (see also Martínez Manzano 1998, p. 73 n. 23).
?Senate of Messina: Láscaris bequeathed his library to that institution.
?Juan Francisco Pacheco y Téllez-Girón, 4th Consort Duke of Uceda (b. 1649, d. 1718), Spanish nobleman and vicory of Sicily: he acquired the collection of the Senate of Messina and transferred it to Spain (cf the note in Spanish, f 331r).
