LLANVERRAS RENTS: rent roll of the lordship of Bromfield and Yale in Llanverras, co. Denb., compiled and certified by William Hill of the Audit Office; 1626. Latin. Followed by an order dated 16 July 1626, signed by Thomas Savage, Francis Cottington, Richard Smyth, Walter Pye and Thomas Fanshawe, for the preparation of an instrument based on the present survey whereby the under-tenants of the lordships would be granted their lands in trust. An Act to this effect was passed in 1627; see statute 3 Car. I, c. 6 and Public Record Office, Calendar of State Papers (Domestic), 1623-1625, p. 449. Purchased, with 63604, 63606-63608 and Add. Ch. 76528-76606, at Sotheby's, New York, 22 May 1985, lot 316.
