Extensively calendared in H.M.C. 7th Report, pp. 261-428, to which detailed references are given below. Individual documents are stamped 'Netherby Library'. Purchased at Sotheby's, 11 July 1986, lot 303.

Mostly paper. Thirty volumes. The letter-books, etc., still have their original 17th-cent. bindings; the loose papers have been mounted in 19th-cent. guard-books, half bound in blue morocco with marbled boards by Zaehnsdorf for inclusion in the library at Netherby Hall.
