Copies. Mostly anonymous but the following composers are named among the instrumental pieces: O. Gibbons, J. Mercure, J. Jenkins, G. Hudson, J. Lilly, W. Young, J. Hutchinson, R. Johnson, Dr. C. Coleman, J. Carwarden, J. Gaultier ('Gutteer'), J. Esto; and among the songs: Capt. S. Pack, J. B. Lully, G. B. Draghi ('Seignior Baptist'), Buckler, Dr. J. Blow. A number of the anonymous instrumental pieces can be identified from concordances as the work of S. Ives, C. Coleman, W. Lawes, R. Johnson, J. Lilly, J. Jenkins, J. Dowland, S. Ives junior. See F. Paper; ff. vi+117. 290 x 190mm. Folios i-vi are fragments of vellum and paper possibly from a previous binding or wrapper. Binding, in poor condition, of brown leather, blind-tooled, with the initials 'EB' on the covers.
