CORRESPONDENCE AND PAPERS OF LT.-COL. RAYMOND JOHN MARKER (b. 1867, d. 1914), Coldstream Guards, A.D.C. to Field Marshal Horatio Herbert Kitchener, 1st Earl Kitchener, from 1901 to 1906, and private secretary to Hugh Oakeley Arnold-Forster, M.P., P.C., Secretary of State for War in 1905; 1898-1914. Used, as indicated below, by D. Dilks, Curzon in India, 2 vols., 1969, 1970, but apparently not by S. H. Cassar, Kitchener: Architect of Victory, 1977. Further papers of Marker are now National Army Museum MSS. 6505-52, 6511-52, 6801-33, 6803-5.
