Includes arias from Antonio Maria Bononcini's opera 'Camilla', produced in London, 1706 (ff. 91b-92), and the pasticcio opera 'Thomyris', produced in London, 1707 (ff. 91b-93). Many of the pieces are also found in Add. MSS. 22099, 34204 and in collections such as A choice collection of ayres for the harpsichord, 1700, and The Lady's Banquet, 1704. Note of ownership of 'Elizabeth Batt 1704' in Gothic script, on f. ii. Purchased from Travis and Emery, Ltd.
