A. Letter from Robert Spencer Dyer Lyons, physician, M.P. for Dublin, to Lord Edmond George Petty-Fitzmaurice, Under-Secretary of State for foreign affairs, Baron Fitzmaurice 1906; 7 Feb. 1884. With printed enclosures concerning forestry. Formerly the property of J. E. E. Franklyn, Esq. Incorporated according to the terms of a minute of the Trustees of the British Museum of 19 April 1933.

B. Fragments of a commentary on a philosophical work by, or attributed to Aristotle; 13th cent. Latin. It appears to refer to the syllogism including 'War' and 'the Athenians', see Boethius, Anal. Post. 2, xi (Migne, PL 64, 752). Initials in red, green, blue and gold. Incorporated from the former binding of Arundel MS. 538.
Vellum; ff. 9-10. 340 x 224mm. 2 columns of 67 lines. Written area 280 x 195mm. Italian. Stained.
