SUPPLEMENTARY SHERIDAN PAPERS Add. MSS. 42767-42771 are supplementary to Add. MSS. 42720-42723, they were originally presented, by the 11th Duke of Bedford, K.G., together with other papers from Frampton Court, to the Dorset Natural History and Archaeological Society, which subsequently agreed to transfer the present papers to the Museum. Vols. V-IX. Correspondence and papers of Richard Brinsley Sheridan (d. 1888) of Frampton Court, co. Dors., son of Thomas Sheridan and grandson of the dramatist, relating to family affairs; 1832-1863. The correspondence is principally with members of the Sheridan and Hay families and their legal advisers. The names of the writers of the letters will be found in the Index to this Catalogue.
