Transcripts extracted from the three collections of printed tracts acquired through or from John Wilson
Croker, P.C., in 1817, 1831, and 1856, that are now in the Department of Printed Books. For the latter, distinguished as the 'F', 'F.R.', and 'R' collections respectively, see G.K. Fortescue, List of the Contents of the three Collections of Books, Pamphlets, and Journals in the British Museum relating to the French Revolution, 1899. A great number of the present transcripts are identifiable in a MS. catalogue (watermark 1821) of the 'F.R.' collection (Department of Printed Books, press-mark C. 38. g. 1). Similar transcripts still remain in the 'R' collection as vol. 525. A few original letters and papers are also included: the names of the writers, etc., of these will be found in the Index to this Catalogue. Five volumes. Paper. Octavo and (vols. III-V) quarto. XVIII-XIX centt. Transferred from the Department of Printed Books.
