mentary survey of Crown lands, 1649, from originals in the Duchy of Cornwall Office, formerly in the possession of the Rev. T. W. Webb (see Historical MSS. Commission, 7th Report, 1879, Appendix, p. 688). Viz.:-(a) Specimen 'Survey of ye Imaginary Manor of Sale'; Sept. 1649. See S.J. Madge, Domesday of Crown Lands, 1938, pp. 135, 142-143. ff. 1-33;-(b) 'Instructions for a method in Drawing up and Ingrossing Surveyes'; 1649. Printed by Madge, op. cit., pp. 334-339. ff. 34-42. ff. 1-42.

(2) 'Proceedings of ye howse [of Commons] contra [Abraham] Granger' (f. 46b); 1 Apr. 1650. Contemporary copy. Cf. Journals of the House of Commons, vi, pp. 390-391. Granger and others had been found guilty of 'forging warrants and counterfeiting hands to bills of Exchange'. ff. 43-46. Paper; ff. ii + 46. Folio. XVII, XX centt.
