Lewis, The Family of Moule of Melksham, Fordington, and Melbourne, 1938, pp. 3, 4; see also H. G. Monroe, Elmley Lovett and the Moules of Sneads Green, 1927 (supplement, 1932). Paper; ff. iii + 69. At ff. ii, 47b are engravings of the Moule crest with the motto, 'Gaudeat Patientia Duris' (as used on the title-page of his Bibliotheca Heraldica, 1822), for the probable source of which see f. 41. At f. i is inserted a letter from the donor to the then Keeper of Manuscripts, Harold Idris Bell (knt. 1946), 9 Sept. 1940, and at f. iii is a memorandum by the former recording that 'This book was bought by A.
