ORIGINAL correspondence of the family of Warley; 1614- 1777. A large number of the letters are addressed to the Rev. Jonas Warley, D.D., Vicar of Witham, co. Essex, and Archdeacon of Colchester, ob. 1722. The names of the writers will be found in the index. Among them are Simon Patrick, Bishop of Ely; Richard Kidder, Bishop of Bath and Wells; Henry Compton, Bishop of London; and Sir William Dawes, Bart., Archbishop of York. At f. 5 is the certificate of the ordination of John Warly, M.A., as priest, 11 Mar. 1665[6]; signed by Humfrey [Henchman, Bishop of] London. Paper. Folio.
