2. "An essay on the nature and methods of carrying on a trade to the South Sea." On the fly-leaf is the name of Hubert Tascell. f. 20.
3. "An account of ye places which ye Duke and Dutchess [privateers] anchor'd at in ye South Seas, wrotte by Edward Cook, commander of ye Marquess prize," followed by other papers relating to the South Seas by Capt. Rogers, John Barton, and Capt. Thomas Bowrey; 1711, 1712, ff. 29-33.
