A collection of songs by Francis Joseph Haydn. Autograph. Prefixed is a lithograph copy of a letter from Haydn to Anton Polzelli; Vienna, 20 Mar. 1808.
Sketches, in the hand of Joseph Haydn, of the choruses, 'Awake the harp,' and 'The heav'ns are telling,' in his Oratorio, 'The Creation.'; before 1798. ff. 2, 3.
Songs, with symphonies and accompaniments for violin, violoncello, and pianoforte, in score; early 19th cent. Autograph. They form nos. 7-14 of a set, and are said to be Welsh, but none of them occur in the collection of Welsh songs contained in Add MS 35274 (dated 1804), nor in George Thomson's collection (1809, etc.). The words are not given. ff. 4-11b.
