A volume containing five documents. These include two holograph letters, a bill of jewels to be delivered to King Henry VIII, and two copies of letters.
ff. 1r–2v: Holograph letter with seal from [Richard Croke, D.D., Greek reader at the King's, afterwards Christ Church College, Oxford] to [Thomas] Cromwell, [1531 or 1532].
ff. 3r–v: Holograph letter from [John de Vere, 15th Earl of Oxford], to [Cromwell], Lord Privy Seal, 4 April [1538], Wyvenhoe.
ff. 4r–v: ‘To my Right honorabyll good lorde my lord preve seylle that hit myght pleys hym to shoo this persylls folloing to the kinges hyghenes’: a bill of jewels delivered by [Thomas Barnaby], for the means of verification of payments in jewels made by him in discharge of duties on French merchandise [26 August 1538].
ff. 5r–6r: Undated, unsigned letter in Latin from Niccolucci Vinaccesi, merchant, to the King [Henry VIII] on his wrongful imprisonment for debt.
ff. 7r–10v: ‘Copia littere impignorationis Ducatus Geldrie’, from Arnold, Duke of Guelders, to Charles, Duke of Burgundy, September 1472, Roermond. In Latin.
