Herts, belonging to the family of Brocket of Brocket Hall, and subsequently to that of Spencer, Baronets, of Offley; 1580-1733. At ff. 10, 16, 17, are genealogical memoranda respecting the families of Spencer, Brocket and Fitz- Simond, and at f. 23 is a valuation of goods and chattels "lefte vnto Elizabeth Fowler late wife of Gabriell Fowler esquire and now the wife of Sir John Brockett knight: soulde unto Richard Ferrers, esquire;" 1583. Paper; in the original stamped leather binding of the xvith cent. Only a small portion of the book is filled up. At the beginning is a note of its production in a law-suit before Robert Jenkyn and others, early in the 18th century. Folio.
