ACCOUNTS of receipts and expenditure for one year of the bailiffs of manors in Surrey and Kent belonging to the see of Canterbury, rendered to Sir Thomas de Lynstede, Treasurer; slightly imperfect at the end. According to Hasted, "History of Kent," vol. iii. p. 582, a Thomas de Lyndestrete [called in the index Lyndestede] was Rector of St. Michael's Harbledown, in the reign of Edward I. At the end is written, in a late xvith cent. hand, "Robertus Kilwa[rby]," who was Archbishop of Canterbury in 1272-1278. Vellum roll, of nine skins joined at the top; temp. Edw. I.
