The treatise styled Hengham Parva. f. 306;-"Cadit assisa." f. 311. On f. 270 b is inserted a copy of a charter of confirmation by Ernaldus de Bosco to the Abbey of St. Mary de Pratis, Leicester, 1240. The volume is irregularly put together, and shows lacunæ in several places. At the beginning are two fly-leaves (ff. 1, 2) from a service-book of the 15th cent. Vellum; ff. 416. In different hands, circ. 1300. With the inscription (f. 3) "Liber sce. Mariæ Riue (?) uallis [Rievaulx, co. York]," to which has been added ex collacione Eadmundi de Brantyn-thorpe On f. 261 is the name of John Dow 1554; and on f. 1 is written " Ms. St. John " ["Oliver St. John, Chief-Justice of the Common Pleas, ob. 1673]. Bound in boards. Octavo.
