A note at the foot, by Lieut.-Colonel Gould Hunter-Weston, F.S.A., of Hunterston, West-Kilbride, Ayrshire, states that the pedigree was preserved at Sutton Place during the survival of the family (See Manning, History of Surrey, ed.
