COLLECTIONS by Rev. Thomas Streatfeild, of Chart's Edge, Westerham, for a parochial history of Kent, consisting of voluminous biographical, genealogical and heraldic memoranda, extracts from parish registers, wills, and other records, etc. On the collector's death in 1848, his materials were entrusted to Rev. Lambert Blackwell Larking, Vicar of Ryarsh, who had been collaborating with him for twenty years previously; but, the latter dying in 1868, he was unable to do more than collect additional matter. The first, and only published, part was edited by Henry H. Drake, in 1886, under the title Hasted's History of Kent, corrected, enlarged and continued to the present time from the MS. collections of the late Rev. Thomas Streatfeild and the late Rev. L. B. Larking. Part I The Hundred of Blackheath. Arranged in fifty-two volumes. Paper. xixth cent. Presented by Mrs. Hanna Streatfeild, widow of the Collector.
