THE0LOGICAL and other tracts, etc., in Latin :-
1. Summula de summa Raymundi: an epitome, in rude hexameters, of the Summa of St. Raymond of Peñaforte. With a prose introduction and commentary . Headed " lncipit Ragimundus metricus S. Michael in Hildes[hiem]." f. 2. Agreeing substantially with the editions printed by H. Quentell at Cologne in 1495, 1498, and 1500. The " Summula " has been ascribed by Fabricius and others to " Adamus quidam "; but the commentator ascribes it, though with hesitation, to Raymond himself (see, sig. a. iii cd. 1495, and compare f. 2 b of this MS.).
2. Tract on canon law, with a short analysis of the Decretum of Gratian, and the heading of chapters of the, Decretals compiled by Raymond of Peñaforte for Gregory IX. f. 228.
3. A collection of Sermons, with the colophon, " Anno incarnacionis domini mcd [1400 ?] feria quarta infra octavas assumpcionis beate Marie virginis conpletus est liber iste." f. 234.
4. " Oracio de Sancto Disma bona " : a prayer addressed to tho Penitent Thief. f. 303.
5. Church hymns, with interlinear glosses. Imperfect at the end. f. 304. In most cases the initials have not been inserted. Paper ; ff. 332. xvth cent. Belonged to the monastery of St. Michael at Hildesheim. Bound in wooden boards covered with stamped leather; brass clasp. Octavo. Presented by Professor George Stephens, of Copenhagen.
