PSALTER, Hymns, and Commune Sanctorum of Antiphonal, the last being followed by an Officium pro Defunctis, Venitare, part of a Te Deum, Offices of the Virgin, and the eight ecclesiastical Tones. Latin. Among the hymns are some in honour of St. Gabriel (f. 147), the Visitation of the Virgin Mary (f. 149), St. Louis, Bishop of Toulouse (ff. 220 b-222), and other festivals peculiar to the Franciscan order. Vellum ; ff. 225. With a few curiously illuminated initials. A few leaves are missing. Written probably in Bohemia late in the xvth cent., with xvith cent. additions. On f. 224 is the name of Phaff [Papa?] Kruth (16th cent.), and inside the cover that of Joseph Warren '1892]. Bound in thick wooden boards covered with elaborately stamped pigskin. Folio.
