Accompts relating to Finchampstead manor, co. Berks., viz:-.
(1) " A trew note of suche mony as I have made of wood and timber att Finebamsted since my Grandmothers deathe, which was in Sept. 1612," to 1637 ; and " a note of all paymentes att Finchamsted since my Grandmothers deathe," to 1630. Probably written by Sir Richard Harrison (M.P. for co. Berks., 1624,1628; for New Windsor, 1640), whose son sold the manor of East-court in Finchampstead to Richard Palmer in 1661 (Lysons, Magna Britannia, vol. i. pt. ii. p. 181). ff. 1, 5;- (2) "An Account of what moneys hath been paid unto Mr. Richard Palmer since his fathers death, which was ye 28th of May, 1670," to 1695. f. 9;-(3) " An account what money I have received for wood out of the parish of Finchamstead since my brother Richard Palmers death, which was on 30th of January, 1697 " [8], to 1711. f. 16.
