Probably owned originally by the Abbey of Weihenstephan, Bavaria, the volume was later in the library of Baron Karl Marie Erenbert von Moll (1765-1822), councillor to the King of Bavaria. A memorandum 'Purchased in Bar. Moll's Collection.A.S.', occurs, f. 1: possibly in the hand of Adolf Heinrich Friedrich von Schlichtegroll, Director of the Academy of Munich. Purchase with part of Baron Moll's library in 1815.
