Mirror-image of ‘678’ in upper right corner of front fly-leaf, apparently offset from the pastedown of an earlier binding. Purchased from R. H. Evans, 8 Dec. 1830, lot unknown.
Paper; ff. 171. Contemporary pagination in ink '2-379', beginning on f. 1v. 200 x 140mm. 18th cent. brown calf binding, with gold tooling around edges of upper and lower covers and along edges of boards, and blind-tooling on turn-ins.
