A COLLECTION of miscellaneous tracts mostly relating to the history of the Church; circa 1602-1704. Italian, Latin and Greek. Partly printed. Table of contents (ff. 1-2). Stamp (f. i) 'biblioth / h.f. / J770', probably from the Biblioteca Falconieri. Owned by Frederick North, 5th Earl of Guilford, but lacking his armorial bookplate. 'D.V.2' and 'LXXXI' in pencil on f. i. '290' in pencil at center of f. i. Purchased, together with Add. 8344, 8358, 8433, 8688, 8788, and possibly 8416, from R. H. Evans, 8 December 1830, lot 290 (part).

The text is preceded (ff. 3-3v) by a letter of the translator Vincenzo Riccardo to Cardinal Francesco Barberino and a summary of the history of the constitution (ff. 4-5v). About the position of the Greek Orthodox Church in Cyprus and the confirmation of Germanos Pesimandros as Orthodox Primate. With translator's notes.
