1. ff. 1-101. Collection of letters and tracts relating to the Catholic Church condemnation of the theories of Martin Luther (1483-1546), and Cornelius Jansen (1585-1638), Bishop of Ypres; after 1628. Latin. 2. ff. 102-135v. Two tracts relating to the origin of heresies in the Eastern Church and to missionaries; n.d. Latin. Copies. Inc. (f. 102) 'De sectarum sive schismatum orientalium origine / A Nestorio Episcopo Constantinopolitano originem habent hereses orientales'; inc. Four sets of old pagination in ink '1-207' (ff. 1-101, omitting nos. 64-69), '1-68' (ff. 102-135v), '1-96' (ff. 176-223v), '1-168' (ff. 224-308, repeating no. 115). circa 223 x 165mm (mounted on paper guards). Three sets of alphabetical quire signatures in lower margin of first leaves: 'A-L' (ff. 1-135), 'A-D' (ff. 176-223), and 'A-G' (ff. 224-308); ff. 136-175 (art. 3) divided into three gatherings, with the first marked 'e'. Horizontal catchwords inconsistently on each page. One Italian hand.
