MISCELLANEOUS COLLECTION of papers and tracts relating to Father Nicolò Ridolfi, the burial place of St. Peter and the League against the Turks signed in 1571 by Venice, Spain, and the Holy See, during the papacy of Pius V; circa 1570-1644. LX' in pencil in upper right corner of f. i, and '504' in ink in fifth spine compartment: identifiable with Mattei MS. 504 (vol. 60 of 'Memorie diverse') in Guilford's catalogue Add. 8220, f. 23v. Owned by Frederick North, 5th Earl of Guilford, but lacking his armorial bookplate. '45' in pencil in lower edge. '103' in pencil in top left corner of front pastedown.
