The MS. includes: - (a) art. 1, ff. 1-5, correspondence of Cardinal Giovanni Bona (1609-1674), Cistercian Abbot and Consultor to the Congregation of the Index and to the Holy Office; - (b) art. 2, ff. 6v-10v, an anonymous religious treatise relating to the Holy Scriptures, the Christian tradition and the Church; - (c) arts. 3-5, ff. 11-43v, excerpts from works by Zeger Bernard van Espen, François Pagi, and Cencio Savelli; - (d) art. 6, ff. 44-48v, letters to Monsignor Fabio Chigi, internuncio at Cologne, from Leone Allacci (1586-1669), Keeper of the Vatican Library; - (e) art. 7, ff. 50-67v, a collection of moral precepts.
