(f. 228) 'Illustrissimo ... Padrone Colendissimo / Cessi obligante il gentilissimo ufficio di condoglianza ... Macerata 3 gennaio 1727 ... Raimondo Buonaccorsi'. Old shelfmark in ink 'F.IV.25.' on f. i verso; other old shelfmark in ink '96.' in sixth spine compartment. Owned by Frederick North, 5th Earl of Guilford, but lacking his armorial bookplate. '640' in pencil in upper left corners of front pastedown and f. 2. Purchased, together with Add. 8523 and 8592, from R. H. Evans, 8 Dec. 1830, lot 640 (part).
