Paper; ff. 65, plus two unfoliated blanks after f. 65. Composite volume. Art. 1: numbered '4' (f. 1, upper right corner); art. 3: marked 'R' (f. 31, upper right corner); art. 4: old foliation in ink '136-145' (ff. 41-50); art. 11: old pagination in ink '1-6' (ff. 62-64v). 281 x 203mm. Several Italian hands. Guilford binding of quarter red leather with decorated paper covers over pastedowns.
1. ff. 1-24v. Fragmentary chronicle of Rimini and related territories for the years 1367-1382; n.d. Inc. 'Nel ditto anno 1367 Papa Urbano voleva Perusio in la Marca', expl. 'Adì 15 di luglio [1382] ... ma per la terra de Messer Paleologo non hebbe vettovaglia, e non li volse dar'. Numbered '4' in upper right corner of f. 1.
2. ff. 25-30. 'Relatione del Treno et Equipaggio mandato dal Serenissimo Duca di Parma per condurre la Serenissima di Neuburgo in Parma', anonymous relazione of the arrival in Parma of Dorothea Sophia von Pfalz-Neuburg, wife of the hereditary prince Odoardo Farnese; [1690]. Inc. 'Avicinandosi il tempo di rendere consolata questa città', expl. 'con habbiti fatti di nuovo e donatigli da Sua Altezza Serenissima'.
3. ff. 31-40. Tract in defence of Prince Siro da Correggio accused of minting bad coins; before 1630. Inc. 'Fin dell'anno 1623 fu portato alle orecchie del Principe di Correggio', expl. 'se non ha opera da soccorrerla?'.
4. ff. 41-50v. 'Relatione dello Stato di Milano'; [1606-1610]. Inc. 'Le cose che a me pare di dover referire intorno allo stato di Milano', expl. 'e le raccomando la mia fedel servitù'. Written between 1606-1610 as Don Pedro Enríquez de Acevedo, Conde de Fuentes de Valdepero, is mentioned as being Governor of Milan for more than six years (f. 50).
