1. ff. 1-76v. 'Relatione dell'Illustrissimo Signor Benetto Moro Proveditore fatta nel suo ritorno de Proveditore Generale in Terra ferma, sotto li 14 di Gennaro .1607. Letta in senato', relazione of the Venetian mainland by Proveditore Generale Benedetto Moro at the end of his mandate; 1607. Inc. 'Questa antica, e bene intesa consuetudine', expl. 'che ho potuto raccorre et esprimere nella predetta mia Relatione'.
2. ff. 77-102. 'Relatione della copiosa discretione delle cose di Cipro con le ragioni in favore, o' contra diverse opinioni, et delle provisioni necessarie per quel Regno fatte per il Signor Ascanio Savorgnani', relazione of Cyprus by the Venetian ambassador Ascanio Savorgnan; 1562. Inc. (f. 77v) 'In oltre m'è àbastanza stato esposto in quai termini', expl. (f. 102) 'si potria penetrare a imprese di gran merito, e gloriose'. Preceded by a letter of Francesco Marcaldi presenting the relazione to Francesco Maria de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany, inc. (f. 77) 'Non sono ancora molti giorni', expl. 'in quella felicità che lei stessa desidera'. Another copy of the relazione also addressed to Francesco Maria de' Medici in Add. 8633, art. 1. Other copies of the letter sent to different recipients by Francesco Marcaldi are now Add. 8632 and 48148 (Yelverton MS. 160), art. 7, Eg. 2859, and Oxford, Bodleian Lib., MS. Ital. e. 11. The relazione was first published in J. P. Reinhard, Geschichte des Königreichs Cypern (Leipzig, 1768), ii, p. 33. M. Foscarini, Della letteratura veneziana ed altri scritti intorno ad essa (Venice, 1854), p. 307, n. 1, notes three other MS. copies then in Venetian collections. Translated into English by H. C. Luke in Bulletin of the Institute of Historical Research, Malta, no. 5 (1932), with notes on other MSS. in Venice, Paris and Malta.
3. ff. 103-122v. 'Particolar Informatione Alla Regia Sacra, et Cattolica Maestà', relazione of Venice addressed to the King of Spain, with information on its political structure, navy and strategies; after 1555 (see f. 107v). Inc. 'Del Nobil Magistrato di Venetia', expl. 'Dio sia sempre propitio alli desideri suoi'. Other copies in Add. 8267 (art. d, ff. 175-208) and 8633 (art. 2, ff. 33-55).
4. ff. 122v-128v. 'Memoria di quello che fruttano al Re di Spagna un'anno per l'altro le Bolle della Crucciata, et altre Bolle di Chiese, et Monasteri particolari, et Jubilei, che chiamano di Cassa, et subsidio Ecclesiastico', accounts of revenues of the Spanish crown; circa 1560. Followed by (ff. 128-128v) a copy of a Latin petition from Sebastian von Heussenstamm, archbishop of Mainz, to the Emperor Charles V concerning the continuation of the Council of Trent, dated 1548. Inc. 'La Bolla della Cruciata', expl. 'Datum Augusta xv Aprilis anno Domini MDXLXVIII'. 5. ff. 129v-146. Account of the state of affairs in the Kingdom of Naples by Giulio Cesare Caracciolo for his brother Ascanio; 1554. Inc. Inc. 'Sono otto giorni che scrisse a Nostro Padre da Venetia, hora scrivo da Ferrara', expl. 'raccomandadomi con tutti a' suoi il Signore la conservi'. 8. ff. 162-183v. Fragment of an anonymous short account of the interdict of Pope Paul V against Venice; 1606-1607. Possibly autograph draft. Inc. 'Sino al tempo di Papa Clemente Ottavo', expl. 'i buoni non ripugnanti alli santi ordini della Chiesa'. With extensive marginal additions, which are already included in the version of the same text in Add. 8589, art. 2, also with minor marginal correction by the same hand.
