(f. 133) 'pontual perfetta osservanza, et essecutione / Zara li 7 Marzo 1708 / Giustin da Riva Proveditor General / Zuanne Zunato Segretario'. The MS. is entitled (f. 1) 'Terminazioni / Giustin da Riva Proveditor General di Dalmatia / Da 22 Luglio 1705, sino 7 Marzo 1708'. The MS. is described by Foligno, anno 6, t. xii (1906), pt. ii, no. cxxxvii, pp. 337-338. It is also listed in Markotic, p. 268. Armorial bookplate of Bernardo di Antonio Nani (front pastedown; for the Nani bookplate see Bragaglia, vol. ii, no. 655: c. 1750). Owned by Frederick North, 5th Earl of Guilford, but lacking his armorial bookplate. '356' in pencil in top left corner of front pastedown. Purchased, together with Add. 8610-8613, 8614-8615, 8616, 8617, 8618, and 8620-8622, from R. H. Evans, 8 Dec. 1830, lot 356 (part).
Paper; ff. 133+ii, plus one unfoliated blank at beginning and 20 at end. Old foliation in ink 1-133 including first blank at the end (ff. 2-133+i). 300 x 216mm. Horizontal catchwords on each leaf. Several Italian hands. 18th-cent. binding of mottled brown leather with gilt-tooled spine in compartments; mottled edges.
