A concise chronicle of the kingdom of Naples and Sicily from Frederick II to Joanna II of Anjou-Durazzo. Title (f. 1) 'Curiosissime particularità de Veridichi successi della Città e Regno di Napoli dal tempo dell'Imperatore Federico secondo, che fù nell'anno 1213, e continuamente per tutto l'anno 1414, che successe al Regno la Regina Giovanna Seconda'. Inc. (f. 2) 'Adsit principio Virgo beata meo / Doppo la morte di Ottone quarto Imperadore, fù nel 1213 eletto Federico secondo', expl. (f. 48v) 'senza pompa alcuna, nella chiesa dell'Annunciata di Napoli' followed by a comment of the copyist concerning the possible death of the author as reason for the abrupt interruption of the work at beginning of the kingdom of Joanna II with a short note on her death: 'L'Autore di questo manoscritto il quale è antico ... solo che la morte di quella'. Armorial bookplate of 5th Earl of Guilford with shelfmark 'L/16/B' (front pastedown). '242' in pencil in top left corner of front pastedown.
