PANTALEÃO RODRIGUES PACHECO: Address to Urban VIII and other papers; circa 1642. Italian and Latin. Copies. The address (art. 2, ff. 5-29v) and the other papers in the present MS. concern the legitimate right of John Duke of Braganza to the Crown of Portugal as King John IV, and the issue of granting papal audience to the Portuguese Ambassador Dom Miguel de Portugal, Bishop of Lamego, Ambassador to Rome Nov. 1641 - Dec. 1642.
