ARMS, in blazon and colours, of princes and "seigneurs à banieres," of France, England, Burgundy, and the Netherlands, and, towards the end of the volume, with less fulness, of Germany, Spain, and Portugal; with a short introductory treatise on heraldry, in which the work of "maistre Eraert" [Jan Errart] is quoted, f. 7. At the end, f. 130, are the names of towns and arms of provinces which belonged to "Charles de Valloix" [Charles the Bold], Duke of Burgundy. Fr. Compiled apparently by a herald in the service of Philip, Archduke of Austria, Regent of the Low Countries 1482-1504, and subsequently King of Spain. See f. 128 b. Paper; beginning of the xvith cent. The following inscriptions of owners occur on the first fly-leaf, "Joosse (?) Sr. de Pamele je appertyent," "van der Behe, 1557;" "Wacht wan den Brande, Anno 1592." Folio.
