MEDICAL treatises in Latin and English, viz.:-
1. Synonyma herbarum; preceded by an index. Lat. and Eng. f. 2.
2. Treatise on the "venyms feuer of pestilens," with its causes and cure, dedicated to Henry VII. by Thomas Forestier, a Norman physician residing in London. At the end is the note: "Notandum est quod ista infirmitas primo tempore regnauit per totum regnum Anglie in anno domini moccclxxxv." The work is referred to in a Latin treatise, "Contra pestilentiam," by the same author, printed at Rouen in 1490. f. 70.
3. "Libelliir, intitulatus Lumen apothecariorum, editus a subtililissimo artium et medicine doctore domino magistro Quirico de Augustis de Terthona." Printed at Venice, 1504; with MS. notes. f. 82.
4. "Breuiarium practice excellentissiini Arnaldi de villa noua, medici quondam summi pontificis." Printed at Venice, 1494; with MS. notes. f. 122.

10. "De regimine sanitatis," beginning, "Ut autem dicit Galienus mirabilis est scientia regiminis sanitatis," f. 255.
11. "Liber de conseruatione Juuentutis," partly medical and partly alchemical, attributed here, by another hand, to Albertus [Magnus] of Cologne, f. 259.
12. Prognostications respecting the shining of the sun and moon, astronomical and meteorological notes, etc., f. 266. Medical receipts are inserted on ff. 1, 120 b, 193, 213, 216 b. Paper and vellum; late xvth century. In tooled leather binding. On f. 2 is the note, "Hunc librum do et lego domino Arnupulho ap Rice suppriori Sci Johannis Exoniæ ad orandum pro anima inea, videlicet Ricardi Smyzth, Anno Domini 1523." Folio.
