THEOLOGICAL treatises, in Latin, viz.:-
1. Short expositions on the virtues and vices and moral subjects, taken from the Scriptures and Fathers, including Beda. Imperfect. f. 1.
2. Verses on the oppression of the church and the corruption of prelates, in which the Bishop of Norwich [John Grey? 1200-1214; see "Political Songs," ed. T. Wright, for the Camden Society, p. 10] is satirised, f. 24 b.
3. Verses on the four complexions, ibid.
4. The work of Hugues de Torcilloi, Prior of St. Laurent, on the nature of birds, allegorically treated; sometimes ascribed to Hugues de St. Victor; with prologue to [Rayner]. It ends imperfectly in the chapter de Aquila, which, as appears from the table of contents, is the final chapter, f. 25.
5. The bestiarium, similarly treated; commonly ascribed to Hugues de St. Victor. Imerfect at the end. f. 49. Vellum; in various hands of the XIIIth cent. Small Quarto.
